If Albert Einstein used math and shit to come up with the best in the game, this playlist would be it.

When I think about artists to feature on this page, I try to envision how each song/artist makes me feel. And let me tell you, this group ALWAYS makes me dance.

This is Injury Reserve. Every song they have is a funky beat over their suave rapping technique. It never fails . to get me groovin'. (Suggestion: See You Sweat)

You ever just feel like :/ and your brain wants to make it worse? This is the playlist for you. Love is dead.

Oh, you remember this Tumblr band. Listening to them at 2 a.m. on a rainy night in your parent's basement -- thinking about how (s)he broke your heart in 3rd period because you were in middle - high school when this band was really popular.

Sweater Weather by The Neighbourhood was a radio favorite that shot the band to top charts. All of their songs have the same vibe that will slam dunk you right into your feels. (Suggestion: Let It Go)

middle school rager

Songs that take you back to your dad chaperoning at your first middle school dance. Strictly 2000s bops only.

You probably haven't genuinely thought about this band in a hot minute, but hear me out. If there was a list being created of the most influential artists of the decade ( ;) ), this band would have to be close to the top of the charts.

The Black Eyed Peas released banger after banger, constantly proving through their (very) active years that the party just don't stop. I feel like this was my first experience with a simpler, experimental version of EDM -- but to that, I groove.

For when you're just feelin' good and livin' healthy!

Two Door Cinema Club has been a staple of my music diet since middle school. One of my very old friends (shoutout Kalie) showed the band to me years ago.

Listening to the band now just makes me smile and remember how hard I thought life was back then. Teenagers are so dramatic. *Suggestion: Eat That Up, It's Good For You)

Time to set sh!t on fire

More deranged, more guts and all the more glory.

When I was younger, I never really listened to My Chemical Romance. Honestly? I thought they were TOO hardcore for me, believe it or not. I really wanted to like their music, which I think propelled my desire for an eclectic discovery of new music. But over time, as I continued to expand my music taste, I realized that the band is a hidden treasure that is normally completely overlooked. This is a playlist literally built in honor of this band, as well as every rebellious teen who wants to dye their hair with Kool-Aid.
